My Story

Edwards Tax Prep was founded by a little country girl from Abbeville, SC, who dreamed of making a difference. After graduating from USC Upstate with a Bachelor’s in Sociology, I pursued further education to earn my credentials as an Administrative Accounting Specialist.

Like many, I once relied on others to file my taxes—until I realized my best interests weren’t always being considered. I decided to take matters into my own hands, studying tax laws and eventually filing my own returns. As my knowledge grew, so did my passion for ensuring others received the same level of care and dedication I had longed for.

Seeing a clear need for tax professionals who truly have their clients’ best interests at heart, I decided to be that change. That’s how Edwards Tax Prep was born: a business built on integrity, care, and the belief that every client deserves personalized, trustworthy service.
